Homecoming Theme:  Mustangs for Life  Did you know the Senior Class of 2019 is the 50thgraduating class at Monte Vista??!!


Spirit Themes for Homecoming Week  10/8 - 10/13 -



HOMECOMING TAILGATE:  Friday, 10/12 4-6pm on Blacktop.  Students, Parents, Alumni and Staff are all welcome.  There is no cost to enter but you may pre-purchase $1 food/games tickets as a fundraiser for the Monte Vista Clubs.  Join in the pre-game fun with food trucks, games, face painting and spiritwear.  $1 tickets are sold during Homecoming Week at the flagpole, commons and student store in the student center. 




HOMECOMING DANCE Saturday 10/13:  The Homecoming Dance is 7-10pm in The Commons.  Tickets for the Dance are $35 with ASB and $40 without.   Get them early! Homecoming tickets are on sale via the webstore. There is a limited number of tickets and they sell out each year.  No guest passes will be issued for this dance. 

Homecoming Week at Monte Vista is filled with Spirit, Activities and You.  In honor of the 50th year of Monte Vista we have students, parents and alumni working together to create a Homecoming that is fun and full of Mustang Pride!  Please join in and encourage others because together we are a stampede!

Tailgate  4:30-6pm  on the 800 building blacktop.  Students, Staff, Alumni, Parents are all invited with game and food booths, free hot dogs for staff and students, food trucks, along with other fundraising booths run by MV Sports, Clubs and Organizations.   MV affiliated groups can participate.  Please email MVHOCOTAILGATE@yahoo.com if you are interested.


Homecoming Floats will be in a parade on the track at 6:30pm.  The floats are being built by each grade and perhaps the Class of 1969.....  All students are encouraged to participate!

Students led by Leadership have designed and started building floats.  Each Class will have parade crews who walk in the parade around the float dressed in costume and holding props. Please email  MVhoco@gmail.com for more information.


Halftime Show includes the Senior Homecoming Court, Cheer and Pom performances and Marching Band Performance.
