Work that we do at Monte Vista High School


  • Parent Education Programs - Screenagers Film, Race to Nowhere Film, Beyond Measure Film/Bookclub

  • Staff Appreciation Events for over 150 Staff, including Holiday Bake (bakers please sign up!), New school year Staff Luncheon, year-end Staff Breakfast, staff appreciation Gift Baskets

  • School Directory- please remember to Opt-In to be included in the directory during the district Annual update

  • Special Needs Advocacy - sign up at Table for this mailing list

  • College Night- Hosting visiting colleges

  • Rubber Duck Derby- Spirit Event for Students, Fundraiser


Donations we provide to MVHS:


  • School Climate Programs, like Breaking Down the Walls, (one grade per year), It’s Up to You (all grades), Fresh Start for Freshmen twice per year.

  • After School Tutorial Lab - in Science, Math and English, three days per week, taught by rotating Staff. Free to MVHS students.

  • Testing Center for Missed Tests - once per week, all grades.

  • Classroom Enrichment Fund - Grant program for teachers requesting non-consumable classroom materials. Funded $3000 in 2017.

  • Student Scholarships to graduating Seniors for 2 or 4 year colleges and vocational schools.

  • Classroom consumable supplies - given equally to all classrooms.
