SRVUSD AIR QUALITY ALERT:  Our thoughts are with the victims of the fires, the firefighters and emergency personnel who are working so hard to support our state.  Due to air quality concerns we will limit outdoor activities for students and staff.   We continue to monitor the air quality issues and will keep you informed if anything changes. PARADISE DONATIONS by 11/17:  Gift cards are most helpful and should be handed directly to Ms Schikora.  Donation items can go to the bin in front of office.


The Class of  '22 wants give back by trying to help the homeless in San Francisco. New socks are the most needed items at homeless shelters, yet among the least-often donated. We are collecting items NOW in the Health and World Geo classes or the Leadership room. See lists posted for additional items.  By Friday, November 30th

MV Website Changes:  All schools in the district are converting websites to a new template.  Monte Vista will be converting by the end of November.  Search bars, documents, pages will be changing to meet the new design.  Thanks in advance for your patience.

DINE OUT FUNDRAISER Monday 11/19 AT Kick ‘n Mule.  On 11/19 from 4-8pm come join Kick N Mule in supporting the MV Women’s Basketball Team.  Just tell the server you’re supporting MVHS to make sure 20% of the proceeds are donated to the team.  340 Hartz Avenue, Danville. 


Dodgeball!   Get ready MV to dodge, duck, dive and dodge!  Get into training because December 3rd to December 6th is Dodgeball week!


Mini College Fair open to all grade levels There will be a mini college fair held during lunch on Wednesday, November 28th  in the Library.  All grade levels are invited to attend.  Students do not need to sign up to attend. 


PSAT Follow up    All sophomore and junior students that took the Official PSAT on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 here at Monte Vista will have their results posted through the CollegeBoard website beginning on DECEMBER 12, 2018.  We will be handing out a paper copy of your results along with your original test booklet after the holiday break




Mom's Night Out on Wednesday, 11/28th, at The Cashmere Sale, at 413 Railroad Avenue, Danville Come  3pm-7pm and shop for gorgeous cashmere items while PTSA gets 15% donated from sales!

PARENT ED January 16th, 7-8:30pm,  A Panel of three professionals will walk us through what our students experience, while helping us as parents find the signs of, and aid in alleviating, stress and anxiety.
